Annual School Improvement Report to Governors: Autumn 2017

The aim of this report is to set out clearly the current effectiveness of the school. It outlines the main strengths; those areas which are making the most difference to children’s outcomes in their personal development, their well-being and their academic outcomes.

 

Main Findings

Outcomes

Outcomes are good overall and for some pupils outstanding.

The school are able to offer a broad range of qualifications and pathways to suit individual needs. If pupils can achieve GCSE and A level qualifications they are entered and supported very well. The school has high aspirations for individual achievements. It strives to ensure that pupils gain qualifications wherever possible and this includes external awards. They run very effectively the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
