Roahl Dahl (12.9.16)

Oak class celebrated Roahl Dahl day by reading one of his most famous stories The Twits. Reading all about Mr Twit’s dirty beard and wormy spaghetti made everybody laugh!

We then had the chance to make Mr Twit’s dirty beard using lots of different foods. Mr Twit had cornflakes, orange peel and even old chocolate biscuits stuck in his beard. The class said he smelt disgusting and looked nasty. After break we found a bowl of green wormy spaghetti in the classroom and it was all full of spiders! Some of us made a gruesome menu of ‘yucky’ dishes including green mouldy fish fingers. No one wanted to eat it or share it with the school at lunch time!

Happy 100th Birthday Roahl Dahl.
